In the heart of Nepali music, “Shishir Ra Basanta” is more than a song—it’s a rebellious journey, a testament to resilience and self-belief. Swastika Regmi’s soulful vocals guide us through the labyrinth of pain, forging an authentic connection with those facing similar battles.
The lyrics unfold as a collective hymn of strength, dedicated to everyone fighting their battles, pushing Nepali artistry to new heights with a fresh storytelling approach.
The shoot at Creative D Studio, scheduled for sunrise at 7 am, embraced fate’s whims, starting the whimsical afternoon at 3 pm. Far from dampening spirits, the delay turned the studio into a carnival of creativity. Laughter echoed as the ensemble, led by Swastika Regmi, transformed the setback into a musical bliss.
From Yuvash Vaidya‘s piano to Ashish Maharjan‘s flute and Nishad Shrestha’s cello, the studio pulsated with musical energy. Kabita Nepali Gurung, through dance and expression, brought the lyrics to life. JD Tamu‘s choreography and Shrusha Shrestha’s art direction turned the studio into a visual wonderland.
The twist? Timing, as the shoot extended into a nocturnal fiesta, concluding at the delightful 2 am. Exhaustion was replaced with laughter, tired smiles, and a sense of accomplishment.
ClassX Presentation, under Surav Shrestha‘s vision, captured every nuance. Storenutter, the Director/DOP, and the dynamic production duo—Surav Shrestha and Mallika Shrestha—wove magic behind the scenes.
Cinematography and editing by Storenutter & Sayun Shakya, with Bishesh Maharjan‘s lights, painted the studio with a vibrant glow. The artistic finesse of Glam Empire Beauty Lounge added the crowning touch, where every brushstroke and hairstyle told a story of beauty redefined.
“Shishir Ra Basanta” transcended the boundaries of a music video, celebrating artistic rebellion and the joy found in overcoming challenges. A standing ovation to the cast, and the tireless crew for turning delays into a symphony of triumph and revelry.
